Record-Breaking 26th NCA & NDA Collegiate Championship in Daytona Beach
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Daytona Beach proudly welcomes back Varsity Spirit’s National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) and National Dance Alliance (NDA) Collegiate National Championship for its 26th consecutive year, held from April 7-9. The championship returns with an impressive milestone as it witnesses a record number of teams and participants converging at the renowned Daytona Beach Bandshell and Ocean Center. This prestigious event is the most enormous collegiate cheer and dance competition globally, where top universities from across the nation vie for the esteemed title of NCA & NDA Collegiate National Champion.
This year’s championship boasts an astonishing turnout, with over 8,000 participants and 355 teams representing colleges from every corner of the country. An estimated 15,000 spectators are anticipated to witness the thrilling displays of skill and spirit—a significant surge in attendance for the event that first relocated to Daytona Beach in 1996. The participating teams will be accommodated in 29 local hotels, utilizing 14 buses for convenient city-wide transportation.
